Boy, 7, who went missing after ‘wandering off from his mum’ in Asda supermarket is found safe

AN URGENT search has been called to find a seven-year-old boy after he was found safe and well.

Jay went missing from the Asda, in Creechbarrow Road, in Taunton, this evening and sparked a police appeal for information.

He was wearing a red and blue Newcastle football shirt, as pictured above, with black shorts and green trainers.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the schoolboy has now been found safe and well.

A spokesperson said: “We are pleased to confirm seven-year-old Jay has been found safe and well.

“Thank you for everyone who shared our appeal and supported our enquiries.”
