IMD sounds Orange alert in three districts of Kerala

On Sunday, the India Meteorological Department issued an orange alert for heavy rainfall in Idukki, Malappuram, and Wayanad districts of Kerala. Residents in mudslide-prone areas in Wayanad have been advised to stay vigilant. Fishermen are also advised to avoid the Kerala-Lakshadweep coast till October 10 due to rough sea conditions.
