Pakistan Baseball Federation furthers development of sport in country
The Pakistan Baseball Federation (PFB) continuesto develop the sport in the country with two key initiatives helping grow thesport and bring it to communities across the nation.
Led by PFB Secretary General, nationaltrials for the Under-12 team were held in September at the Muslim School andCollege Bahawalpur Road in Multan.
Large numbers of players from across thecountry attended and the process led to the selection of 30, who players thatwill participate in a training camp ahead of the final squad selection for theteam.
To celebrate Defense Day on 6 September,the PFB held a celebratory exhibition game at the Okara Cantonment in Punjab,where the Pakistan Green team defeated Al-Barq Division with guest of honourLieutenant Colonel Zeeshan Khalid present.
Pakistan are currently ranked 37th in the WBSC/KONAMI Men’s Baseball World Ranking, 17th in the women’s and 40th in Baseball5.
