COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The Best Damn Band in the Land, how they marched and they played, saluting a Dr. Seuss classic in their halftime parade!

The Ohio State University Marching Band honored Dr. Seuss' "Oh, the Places You'll Go" in today's halftime show. The Best Damn Band in the Land (TBDBITL) said their show demonstrated a drum major's journey as they worked their way up from the bottom to the top.

To classic pieces by composers like Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky, the band navigated different formations. Forming a man floating on a balloon, someone riding an elephant and another man figure moving mountains, all visual elements of the show were meant to signal the potential for growth and adventure.

"Oh, the Places You'll Go" featured songs like Dvorak's "Overture Carnival" and Elgar's "Nimrod from Enigma Variations." A total of five songs were included, with all arranged by composer Andrew Markworth.
