Spotting soft coral garden off Newfoundland 'once in a lifetime' opportunity, researcher says

Researchers made a rare discovery this past June when they spotted a soft coral garden northeast of Fogo island, off Newfoundland. Doctoral candidate Emmeline Broad says the corals are so densely packed, the seabed is not clearly visible.
