Memorial gala to raise funds for domestic violence assistance programs to take place at Franklin Terrace

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, friends and family of Liza Ellen Warner are hosting a memorial gala on Saturday at the Franklin Terrace Ballroom in Troy.

Warner was a victim of domestic violence who died at the hands of her husband. Those committed to addressing the issue of domestic violence are coming together to honor her and other victims as well as raise money for services for victim assistance programs.

NEWS10's John Gray will emcee the event. Doors open at 6 p.m.
