OHP identifies victim in fatal Pottawatomie County crash

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) - Emergency crews responded to a fatal rollover crash on Bethel Rd. near Tecumseh Friday morning.

Officials say the crash, involving a truck, happened on Bethel Rd. south of Highway 9. The truck ran off of the road and hit a mailbox. The driver then overcorrected and overturned the truck.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the driver, identified as 20-year-old Samari Durhan, was killed in the crash. There was a passenger in the truck who was not injured.

OHP says the cause of the crash was failure to maintain lane.
