Amazon Cancels Plans for Two Planned Shows, Including 'Who's the Boss' Sequel Series

Amazon MGM Studios is not moving forward with two television shows that were in the works.

It was previously reported that Amazon Freevee was planning a Who’s the Boss? sequel series starring Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano, but the project is no longer happening.

Deadline reports that the project was originally set up at Freevee in 2022 and would take place 30 years after the events of the original series.

Alyssa‘s Samantha would now be a single mother living in the family house with her father Tony, a former Major League Baseball player/retired housekeeper.

That’s not the only project not moving forward.

Amazon was in the works on a spinoff of the Prime Video hit Bosch for Jamie Hector‘s character Detective Jerry Edgar. The project is also not happening.
