Piyush Goyal says opposition 'forced' India to join RCEP group, free-trade agreement in China

Washington DC, [US], October 4 (ANI): Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, has spoken out against India's previous involvement in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) negotiations, stating that the country was "forced" to join the grouping by 'then government' (Congress).

The minister stated this during a press address on the sidelines of his 4-day US visit, which concluded on Thursday.
