Man caught on video trying to rob Queens bakery with rifle: NYPD
JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) – A man was caught on camera trying to rob a Queens bakery with a rifle on Sept. 23, according to the NYPD.
It happened at a Jamaica Avenue bakery in Jamaica around 10 p.m. The man entered the bakery, took out a rifle and demanded money from an employee, police said.
The employee ran out of the bakery through a rear door, according to authorities.
The suspect fled the location going southbound on 97th Street in a dark-colored SUV, police said.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect was last seen wearing two different dark-colored sunglasses on his head, a blue-colored bandana face covering, a gray-colored t-shirt, dark-colored shorts and dark-colored shoes.
