Joshua Jackson’s New Era After His Divorce Has Reportedly Created a Whole Different 'Persona'

A breakup can do many things. It can make you rethink your career, start up new hobbies, strengthen your friendships and, of course, lead to some impressive glowups. For Joshua Jackson, his split from ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith has let him focus on his career and heartthrob status more than ever before.

“Joshua has been working nonstop for a very long time, and he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves … plus, he’s winning raves for his appearance. He looks hotter than ever!” an insider told Life & Style. As a reminder, Jackson is now starring in Doctor Odyssey, a Ryan Murphy-produced show where Jackson plays the protagonist, Max, who’s a new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship.

Per the insider, his new role has been a true blessing. “He knows it’s amazing he’s now getting leading man roles,” they said. “He’s in his mid-40s, and he really tries to take care of himself physically.”

With this exciting role in the works, it’s no wonder Jackson’s been feeling himself recently. “He’s also got this confidence he didn’t always have,” the source said. “It’s his whole persona; he has so much swagger these days.”

In the 2024 Emmys, for example, Jackson left fans swooning as he walked on stage to present an award as the Dawson’s Creek theme song “I Don’t Want to Wait” played in the venue. As Jackson laughed at the music choice, fans had their hearts skipping a beat at home.

And in addition to getting more attention for his looks and career, Jackson’s been having fun with his love life lately too. After a relationship with actress Lupita Nyong’o, Jackson was recently pictured by Deuxmoi with German model and brand manager Nastassja Roberts.

“When Joshua is into you, he’s so into you and makes you feel like a million bucks,” the source said of his dating style. “It’s not surprising women are flocking to him. He’ll book romantic dinners and weekend-long hotel stays. He will do things that make you feel special.” Looks like Roberts is one lucky lady!
