Preview: U18s Take On Celtic

Darren McGregor’s Under-18 side will take on Celtic this Friday in their latest CAS U18 Elite League fixtures.

The match will take place at the Lennoxtown Training Complex, kicking off at 7pm.

Daz’s under-18s have had a stellar start to the 2024/25 league campaign, going unbeaten in their opening seven fixtures (four wins, three draws).

They come into this one off the back of two successive wins beating Hamilton Academical 3-0 last weekend and Dundee 2-0 the week before.

They currently sit third in the CAS U18 Elite League table, two points behind leaders Kilmarnock with a game in hand. Rangers currently occupy second place.

Our youngsters’ opponents, Celtic, currently seventh in the league table having won two of their opening eight fixtures.

Both of those wins came away from Lennoxtown as they beat Motherwell (4-1) and Hearts (6-2).

The Bhoys come into this one off the back of a 3-3 draw with Queen’s Park.
