Help shape the future of British Judo!

0

We would like your feedback on our current strategy and how we can drive the sport forwards!

With the culmination of the Paris Olympics and Paralympics in September, our four-year Strategic Plan for the 2022 to 2025 period will shortly be coming to its end. This will kickstart a consultation period where British Judo will be looking to develop their next strategy for the upcoming Los Angeles cycle, that will take the sport through to 2028 and beyond.

The Association have enlisted the help of Andy Reed and James Radford, both of whom have been at the forefront of strategic planning for sport, to assist in leading this project.

A proposed timetable for the development of the new strategic plan has been drafted, incorporating opportunities for consultation and input from members and stakeholders alike. The executive team will be laying some foundational work, which is included in the schedule for clarity.

To begin the process throughout October and November, Chair Gerry Gualtieri and Chief Executive Andrew Scoular – supported by other executive staff – will host a series of virtual meetings to listen to players, coaches, clubs and volunteers to gather feedback that will help shape the future strategy.

We would love to have as many members involved in the following sessions:

Tuesday 15 October
7:00pm to 8:00pm

Thursday 24 October
7:00pm to 8:00pm

Wednesday 6th November
7:00pm to 8:00pm

Wednesday 13th November
7:00pm to 8:00pm

We will be working to the following timetable with the hope of launching the new strategy in April 2025.

We do hope that you will all engage and support the process aimed at shaping the future of British Judo.
