Tea Development & Promotion Scheme with outlay at Rs 664 cr announced for industry upliftment

Tea Board has launched a Tea Development & Promotion Scheme with a budget of Rs 664.09 crore from 2023-24 to 2025-26. The scheme aims to support plantation development, quality up-gradation, technological intervention, research, and promotion of Indian tea globally. It will aid tea gardens, promote Indian tea brands internationally, and boost domestic consumption.
