Zambia increases power supply to 3 hours amid energy crisis

LUSAKA, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Retail customers in Zambia will have three hours of stable electricity supply as the country continues to grapple with a power crisis caused by drought, a senior official said Wednesday.

"With the Maamba Energy Power Plant returning to full operation and the normalization of power imports, we expect to see a more stable power supply going forward," Minister of Energy Makozo Chikote sai
