Harry Kane gives his review on Tottenham after watching win over Man United

Spurs fans will love what Harry Kane has said about Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Manchester United.

Statement performance

Tottenham sent out a clear statement with bravery, freedom and conviction with which they played at Old Trafford, dominating proceedings from start to finish.

It was the performance of a set of players who were fully bought into Ange Postecoglou’s system and believed that they were better than their opponents.

Spurs fans were delighted with what they saw from their side and it turns out that Kane too liked what he was watching from his former club.

Kane’s words of praise

Kane himself has been part of some memorable wins at Old Trafford during his time with Spurs, including the 3-0 victory in 2018 and the 6-1 thrashing in 2020.

The Bayern Munich star admitted that he loved watching Sunday’s game, admitting that it is one of the best performances he has seen from his former side for a while.

When asked if he watched Spurs against United, Kane said (via Football.London): “Yeah I did watch the game yesterday, I thought it was a really great game from Spurs, probably one of the best I’ve seen in a while, I really enjoyed that one.

“Even before the sending-off, I thought Spurs were really dominant, it was great to watch them get a really good victory.”

Kane still has a soft spot for Spurs

Even though Tottenham fans’ hopes of Kane being a one-club man did not materialise, it is clear from the way the 31-year-old speaks about the North London side that he still has a soft spot for his former home.

Some supporters might continue to dream that the England captain will make a fairytale comeback to N17 sometime in the future.

According to reports, Spurs have the first option to re-sign Kane if and when Bayern Munich decide to sell the striker (Sky Sports).
