Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment starts talks over up to 40 staff cuts

THE MINISTRY of Economic Affairs and Employment has started what are the largest consultative negotiations in its history on Wednesday.

Announced last week as part of an effort to meet the government-imposed savings target, the negotiations could result in the terminations of as many as 40 employees, accounting for about 10 per cent of the total headcount.
