Who Is Jason Momoa Dating?

0

Everyone knows Jason Momoa, whether for his long, curly strands, his breakout role as Aquaman where he flaunted his chiseled six-pack abs and mammoth arms, or his very public divorce from ex-wife Lisa Bonet after seven years of marriage. Now the Game of Thrones actor is in the spotlight again—this time because he recently announced that he's dating yet another actress: Adria Arjona.

While the couple isn't exactly secretive about their relationship (they work in Hollywood, after all), the two seem to keep their private lives fairly guarded. Follow along as we share everything we know about Jason Momoa and his girlfriend Adria Arjona.

Adria Arjona's Net Worth

Given that Arjona lives a somewhat private life, her net worth isn't well-known information. However, given her roles in movies and shows such as Pacific Rim: Uprising, Hit Man, Blink Twice, The Absence of Eden, Father of the Bride, and Emerald City, I Am Gold Panda estimates it to be somewhere around the $2 million mark. Momoa, on the other hand, is said to have a whopping $40 million net worth, which makes sense given his major roles in Game of Thrones and Aquaman, as well as the DC Comics film's sequel.

Jason Momoa Was Married to The Crosby Show Actress Lisa Bonet

Prior to his relationship with Arjona, Momoa was married to Lisa Bonet, an American actress most well-known for her role as Denise Huxtable on the sitcom The Cosby Show or her other high-profile romance with an indelible star. Before Momoa and Bonet got together Bonet was married to Lenny Kravitz, and the pair share a daughter—Zoë Kravitz. After meeting at a Los Angeles jazz club in 2005, Momoa and Bonet started a 12-year-long relationship prior to getting married. During that time, the couple had two children together before making their relationship official in 2017.

Alas, after seven years of marriage, the couple split. According to People, just a few years ago Momoa was struggling to find work, but now his career is booming. While Bonet is happy for him, a source explains that she "had no interest in joining" Momoa "on every location. She enjoys her life in L.A."

In a joint statement that has since been deleted from Momoa's Instagram account, the two announced, "We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it's newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty." The statement continued by saying, "The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become…"

The Couple Started Dating in May

While their relationship timeline is uncertain, Momoa spilled a bit about his relationship status in a fan interview at Basingstoke Comic Con in England. “I’m very much in a relationship. I’ve been in a relationship for a while,” he told the crowd. “I’m really enjoying [my] privacy ’cause back in the day nobody gave a fuck, and now everybody does.”

Soon after, Momoa confirmed his relationship with Arjona in an Instagram post. The post, which went up at the end of May, included a series of photos from the couple's recent trip to Japan, one of which was a windswept photo of the pair sitting by the ocean. Another showed Arjona under a mean "Harley-Davidson Cycles" sign.

"Japan, you are a dream come true you blew my mind," Momoa captioned the post. "We’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor. ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha j."

Just a few months later, a source shared more details with People"He cares about her. It's real," the source said. "She's good to him—and a lovely and genuine person and real like he is. She has a good sense of humor and is easy to be with. They relate to each other."

Arjona Was Married Before

Just like Moma, Arjona was married prior to the two getting together. While there isn't a lot of information available on the relationship between Arjona and her lawyer ex-husband Edgardo Canales, it is reported that she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reasoning behind the split. The couple was married from 2019 to 2023, ending their tie just under a year before the actress reportedly started dating Momoa.

She’s an Actor, Too

While Arjona may not be a household name like Moma quite yet, she's done her fair share of work in Hollywood. Her first role was reportedly in a short film called Loss, but she didn't make it to the big screen until she landed the role of Dani Silva in the CBS sci-fi drama Person of Interest in 2014 and 2015.

From there her career started to take off with lead roles in films like Pacific Rim: Uprising, Hit Man, Blink TwiceThe Absence of Eden, and the 2022 remake of Father of the Bride. Her work can even be seen in some pretty major TV series such as Good Omens and Emerald City.

The 2023 movie Hit Man from veteran director Richard Linklater, in particular, earned rave reviews. That's in no small part thanks to the smoldering chemistry between Arjona and lead Glen Powell in the Netflix comedy/thriller.

Arjona and Momoa Met on a Movie Set

Though their relationship is fairly new, the two have known each other for several years. It's reported that the pair met on the set of their 2021 Netflix thriller Sweet Girl. While the movie didn't make a big splash, the two played a husband and wife, roles that seem more than fitting now.
