Meet Henry Cavill's Hollywood Executive Girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso

0

Best known for his role as Superman in Man of Steele, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League, Henry Cavill is a real-life superhero (or at least he plays the part well). While we've seen plenty of the British actor on screen and in interviews, he leads a little bit of a double life, similar to that of his DCEU character.

“I tend to slip off the radar when not working,” Cavill said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m a private person and a family person. The spotlight is beneficial, but it can also be exhausting. I like to put my feet up without being concerned with how I’m being perceived or what I’m putting out there, and I can do that in a private space with friends and family.”

While he's no stranger to the spotlight himself, he likes to keep his personal life under the radar, especially when it comes to Natalie Viscuso, his long-time girlfriend.

Viscuso was born December 11, 1990. As of date of publish, she's 33 years old. Cavill was born May 5, 1983, making him 41—eight years her senior.

Henry Cavill Net Worth

It's hard to say what Viscuso's exact net worth is as a business executive. However, with her long-time career in the production industry, it's safe to say she lands somewhere around the $1 million net worth mark. Conversely, Cavill's net worth sits at around $50 million with top-earning roles in The Witcher, Superman, and Enola Holmes.

Who Is Natalie Viscuso?

Like Cavill, Viscuso is no stranger to the entertainment industry. In fact, she's the vice president at Vertigo Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based production company founded in 2001 by Roy Lee and Doug Davison.

Vertigo Entertainment is most well-known for its horror flicks such as Barbarian, It, The Grudge, The Ring, and beyond. The company also has a first-look television deal with Amazon, where it's currently producing Them: Covenant, a story of a family that moves to a seemingly normal tree-lined North Carolina town only to be taunted by malevolent forces both real and supernatural. Outside of Amazon, Vertigo also has series on other networks including HBO, HBO Max, Netflix and Apple, and more.

According to Deadline, prior to her position at Vertigo, Viscuso worked as the Vice President of Television and Digital Studios at Legendary. While at the Burbank-based production company, she worked on series such as Dune: The Sisterhood for HBO Max, Taika Waititi’s The Auteur for Showtime, and had her hand in an array of other projects in development at Hulu, Peacock, and Apple. According to her IMBd page, she also held a position at Tomorrow Studios, and even worked within the TV Lit Department at the talent and literary agency Gersh.

"Genre storytelling has been the beating heart of who I am ever since I was a child," Viscuso wrote in an Instagram post after the news of her new position broke. "I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to translate that passion into a career and to have done so with some of the best in the business. The past few years at Legendary were an unparalleled adventure, and the decision to leave was one of the hardest yet. That said, this next chapter is one I’ve dreamt about for ages and could not be more excited for. I can’t wait to show you what we’re building at Vertigo. Stay tuned…!"

Natalie Viscuso Super Sweet 16 Appearance

Prior to her success as a Hollywood executive, Viscuso made her TV debut on an episode of MTV’s My Super Sweet 16, a show where teens with uber-wealthy parents throw them a lavish 16th birthday party.

The episode, which premiered on February 14, 2005, shows Viscuso, who just moved from Roswell, NM, with her father and his fiancee to glamorous La Jolla, CA. In an effort to win over her classmates, she plans to throw the biggest party La Jolla has ever seen.

Henry Cavill and Natalie Viscuso Dating Timeline

While their exact relationship timeline is unknown, it's rumored they originally met on the set of Enola Holmes, which Viscuso's company produced and Cavill starred in as Sherlock Holmes. A year later, the couple were spotted on what looked like a romantic walk in London.

Shortly after, the couple made their relationship Instagram official when the Justice League star posted a photo of the two playing chess captioning the image: "This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie destroys me at chess."

In a separate post with the same image on Viscuso's page, she wrote, "Just teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess...or...maybe he let me win?"

Just a few months later Viscuso shared another post swooning over Cavill's recent accomplishments stating, "I am so, so proud of you, Henry. You truly are the greatest man I have ever known. The Hollywood Reporter did an incredible job with this cover story - it really is a great read. SO PROUD I’m literally crying."

While the couple tends to keep their relationship fairly private (aside from a handful of Instagram posts, according to People, they made their first ever red carpet debut in 2022 for Cavill's Enola Holmes 2 premiere in New York City.

They Worked on a Film Together

Just after the duo made their red carpet appearance, they announced they were working on a Warhammer 40,000 adaptation together. According to ScreenRantWarhammer 40k is the passion project of Henry Cavill who has been a longtime fan of the franchise.

"For 30 years I have dreamt of seeing a Warhammer universe in live action," Cavill said in an Instagram post. "Now, after 22 years of experience in this industry, I finally feel that I have the skill set and experience to guide a Warhammer Cinematic Universe into life. Partnering with Natalie Viscuso at Vertigo has been a blessing beyond words, without her we might not have found the perfect home at Amazon. And having a home like Amazon will give us the freedom to be true to the massive scope of Warhammer. To all of you Warhammer fans out there, I promise to respect this IP that we love. I promise to bring you something familiar. And I endeavor to bring you something fantastic that is, as of yet, unseen."

They're Expecting Their First Child

In an interview with Access Hollywood at the April 2024 premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Cavill confirmed that he and Viscuso are expecting their first child together.

"I'm very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited about it," he said.

Viscuso mirrored his excitement in an Instagram post in June stating, "So very excited for this next phase of life - becoming a mama! I do hope this kid loves horror movies as much as I do, one day. #hellodarkness"
