Heritage Day celebrations have little or no meaning if they're not located in the concrete conditions of life in South Africa, which, as we know, is riven with all manner of crises and contradictions, while poverty, unemployment and class divisions are worse today in this country than they ever were under apartheid, writes Ebrahim Harvey.
