Who is Vikram Salgaocar?
Vikram Salgaocar, the eldest cousin of Isha, Akash, and Anant Ambani, is the son of Duttaraj and Deepti Salgaocar. He also has a sister, Ischeta Salgaocar. After completing his early education, Vikram earned a BBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
His father, Duttaraj Salgaocar, heads the V.M. Salgaocar Group of Companies, which operates primarily in iron ore, coal, and wind energy. Vikram began his career as an associate with McKinsey and Company in 2007 before transitioning to a role as Business Development Manager at Reliance Entertainment. Currently, he serves as the director of VM Salgaocar Hotels and Resorts Private Limited. A seasoned business professional, Vikram divides his time between managing interests in the USA and India, playing a key role in his family’s diverse business ventures.
In his present role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of his family’s business and works on other initiatives to increase its effect.
