US bans new types of goods from China over allegations of forced labour

The US Department of Homeland Security has banned imports from a Chinese steel manufacturer and an artificial sweetener maker for using forced labor from Xinjiang. This action is part of the Uyghur Forced Labour Prevention Act, aiming to curb human rights abuses. The entity list now includes 75 companies tied to forced labor.
