Preservation Foundation in Saratoga hosts pub crawl

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation is hosting the 12th Annual Pints for Preservation Pub Crawl on Saturday, Oct. 19. The crawl will stop at five local pubs with a historic tie to the community.

Tickets can be purchased through the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation's website and are $35 a piece, $60 for a couple, and $120 for a group of four. Participants will receive a complementary pub crawl-themed shirt and pint glass while supplies last.

The crawl starts at 2:30 p.m. at Druther's Brewing Company, followed by Harvey's Restaurant and Bar, Desperate Annie's, The Misfit, and ends at the Saratoga City Tavern. Each pub is located in a historically prominent building, and guests can participate in a scavenger hunt specific to the historical architecture.

Additionally, participants will have a chance to buy raffle tickets for several prizes from Saratoga businesses. The winners will be announced at Saratoga City Tavern during an afterparty with light refreshments.

All proceeds from the pub crawl will go towards the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation's restoration projects and the mission of conserving the heritage of Saratoga Springs architecture and cultural landscape. The final chance to register for the pub crawl is Friday, Oct. 18, at 9 p.m. or Druther's Brewing Company when the event starts.
