Padres' Joe Musgrove exits start due to injury

San Diego right-hander Joe Musgrove departed the Padres' National League wild-card series game against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday with an apparent injury to his throwing arm.

ESPN reported that Musgrove left with elbow discomfort.

San Diego held a 5-1 advantage when Musgrove exited after 3 2/3 innings. He struck out four and gave up one run on one hit and no walks.
