Attefallshus

0

Attefallshus is a minimal home located in Gothenburg, Sweden, designed by KFA arkitekter. The firm is led by three partners—Fabian Sahlqvist, Kristoffer Bilet, and Anders Natt och Dag—who studied together at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, earning degrees in heritage, transformation, and restoration. Each partner brings a unique set of experiences to the table, having worked at prominent architectural firms across Scandinavia and Europe.

Located outside Gothenburg, the 30-square-meter guesthouse is a thoughtful blend of natural materials and minimalist design. The exterior features untreated heart pine, while the windows are crafted from oiled oak. A zinc roof and gutter system complete the structure, underscoring the firm’s commitment to integrating contemporary elements with the surrounding environment. For KFA Arkitekter, each project is an opportunity to develop a unique understanding of context and to explore innovative solutions. This philosophy ensures that every new design is as distinct as the site it occupies.
