Boy, 16, shot in Grand Crossing
A 16-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Wednesday morning in Grand Crossing on the South Side.
Just before 10 a.m., the boy was in the 7700 block of South Drexel Avenue when four assailants exited a white sedan and opened fire, striking him in the right shoulder, Chicago police said.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
