Situation in the Middle East (2 October 2024)

France condemns the attack directed against Israel with ballistic missiles fired from Iran. It reiterates its absolute commitment to Israel's security. It helped ward off the Iranian threat with its military capabilities in the Middle East. A few hours before, a terrorist attack targeted civilians in Jaffa, killing 7 and injuring 10, according to initial reports. We utterly condemn this attack and extend our condolences to the victims' families. Civilians must always be protected. France (…)
