Is Trey Sermon going to start for injured Jonathan Taylor? What fantasy football managers need to know
Jonathan Taylor suffered an ankle sprain in the Indianapolis Colts’ win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, but how bad was it?
There was a report that it was a high ankle sprain, which is a multi-week injury in a lot of cases, but as Ian Rapoport said, it was “believed to be a pretty mild version.”
Which brings us to Trey Sermon, who backs up Taylor. If you’re in fantasy football, you should definitely, absolutely, 1000% pick up Sermon off waivers in case Taylor is out for at least one week. A starting running back — even a possibility of one — is a good thing.
Trey Sermon
Jonathan Taylor has been diagnosed with a mild high ankle sprain.
It remains to be seen if Taylor will miss Week 5.
If Taylor is OUT, Sermon is a must-roster and RB2 play against JAC.
