Recent legal troubles and arrest warrant
Thomas has recently become a person of interest in a homicide investigation in connection with the death of William Nicholas “Nick” Abraham, a 69-year-old therapist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
On October 1, 2024, the Baton Rouge Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Thomas on multiple charges.
According to official documentation obtained by The Sun, an officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black Lincoln MKZ on North Sherwood Forest Boulevard.
The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Thomas, did not comply with the officer’s commands to exit the vehicle.
Instead, Thomas allegedly backed the car into the police unit before speeding away through a traffic light, crashing the car and getting away from the cops.
Police released surveillance images of the driver and deemed him a person of interest.
Charges
The influencer is wanted on the following charges:
- Aggravated criminal damage to property
- Resisting an officer
- Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
Connection to therapist’s death
The vehicle Thomas was driving was registered to William Nicholas Abraham, whose body had been discovered wrapped in a tarp along U.S. 51 in Tangipahoa Parish on Sunday, September 29.
It was a very physical and very violent attack
Sheriff Gerald Sticker
Abraham, a well-known priest and therapist in the Baton Rouge community, died from blunt-force trauma.
His body was found in horrific condition, with bruises covering his head, shoulders and neck, according to Sheriff Gerald Sticker, who described it as “a very violent and physical attack”, per WAFB.
Ongoing investigation
While Thomas has not been charged in connection with Abraham’s murder, he has been named as a person of interest in the case.
Surveillance footage from Juban Crossing in Denham Springs showed Abraham’s car on Sunday afternoon, the day his body was found.

As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Thomas’s whereabouts to contact the Baton Rouge Police Department or Crime Stoppers immediately.
The case has shocked the Baton Rouge community and Thomas’ online fanbase.
As more details emerge, law enforcement agencies continue to work diligently to piece together the events leading up to Abraham’s death and Thomas’ subsequent flight.
The case remains ongoing, with many questions still unanswered about the nature of Thomas and Abraham’s relationship, the circumstances surrounding Abraham’s death, and Thomas’ current whereabouts.
Police released images of a man they say stole Abraham’s car and crashed it one day after the therapist’s body was found[/caption]Family reaction
Before Abraham started working as a therapist, he served as a Catholic priest for 14 years in Baton Rouge.
On his personal website he described himself as a life coach, motivational speaker, author and teacher.
The therapist regularly appeared on segments for a local news station to provide advice on dealing with mental health issues.
Abraham was arrested and accused of inappropriately touching an 11-year-old boy during a session in 2015, but those charges were later dropped.
Sheriff Sticker said they are aware of the prior arrest.
Abraham was one of eight children, and his heartbroken siblings have opened following his tragic death, remembering him as someone who always wanted to help others.
“He made a mark on people’s lives and helped them be better people,” Joseph Abraham told WWL TV.
“We’re all blinded by it, but we’ll get answers.”
Abraham was described by his friend Jarrett Ambeau as “not the kind of man that something like this would’ve happened to.”
“I’m absolutely devastated and completely surprised that something like that could’ve happened to a man who I believe to be so tender and so gentle,” he told CBS affiliate WAFB.
Abraham’s brother Tommy said: “No one should take a life but God. No one.
“He’s the only one that can take a life and for someone to take someone else’s life, you’re a coward.”
Officials are urging anyone with information about the crime to come forward.
They believe the therapist was killed on the night of Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Cops would like to know what he was doing in the hours before he was killed.
Investigators searched his home but found no sign of a struggle.
