Woman slashed in the torso in Manhattan subway station: NYPD
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to a subway station attack early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened around 3:10 a.m. at the 50 Street subway station.
Police say an unidentified individual approached a 28-year-old woman who was waiting on the northbound "C" train platform. The suspect slashed the victim in the torso with an unknown cutting instrument.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health+Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
The suspect fled the subway station on foot. The NYPD released the following surveillance photos of the suspect.
