Topeka haunted house is back for more scares this fall

0

TOPEKA (KSNT) - A thrilling and spooky haunted house in the Capital City is back for another year.

October means the spooky season is just getting started. Adam Jenks, the mastermind behind Nightmare on the Boulevard, gave 27 News a special look inside the haunt. They are still in the building process but all of the details are starting to come together.

"This year we are doing nightmares. we came up with with the title Nightmare on the Boulevard about three years ago, and then we did other themes with that," Jenks said. "And this year I decided you know what? We have a great theme and nightmare, and there's a lot you can do with that. When you go to sleep, there's four different phases you enter, so basically it'll get darker as you go through and those nightmares get a little bit more crazier as you get deeper into this haunt."

Participants will never know what to expect next with all of the twists and turns. Even with the lights, on things might be a little spooky.

Nightmare on the Boulevard's opening night is set for Saturday, Oct. 5. Click here to purchase tickets for the event at the Stormont Vail Events Center. Tickets start at $20 for general admission with the first show on Oct. 5.
