One of the most-talked about moments from the previous presidential debate was when Trump claimed that immigrants in Springfield were eating the dogs and cats of residents. During the VP debate, Vance referred to the immigrants as “illegal aliens.”
While the moderators said they wouldn’t be fact checking, Brennan clarified that many of the Haitian immigrants in Ohio are there legally.
“The rules were that you guys weren’t going to fact check,” Vance said while continuing to take time to attempt to prove his point. He continued to go over on his time and was asked to stop talking. Walz started to chime in too… and then the microphones were just turned off.
Brennan chimed in, “The audience can’t hear you because your mics are cut. We have so much we want to get to.”
