Daughter of 'Lady Trump' ex-pol may have incriminated self in mom's fraud trial: report

The daughter of a former MAGA politician accused of blowing charity cash meant for a slain Las Vegas police officer may have incriminated herself on the witness stand during her mom's criminal trial, according to a new report.

Former Las Vegas City Council Member Michele Fiore's daughter Sheena Siegel testified in her mom's federal wire fraud case Tuesday that she signed a check from a political PAC to her personal account, according to KTNV reporter Jaewon Jung.

"Federal prosecutors say this is a federal crime," Jung wrote on X. "The judge suggested getting counsel for Siegel, because she may have possibly incriminated herself on the stand."

Attorneys were swiftly brought in to represent Siegel and discuss her testimony off the stand, Jung reported.

Siegel then pleaded the fifth on questions from federal prosecutor Alexander Gottfried with a serious look on her face, according to the report.

"I just saw her wipe a tear off her face," Jung wrote. "Fiore doesn’t look too happy either."

Fiore, 53, stands accused of raising money to build a memorial statue of slain Las Vegas police officer Alyn Beck and then spending the cash on personal items — among them her daughter's wedding, according to federal prosecutors.

"Then-Las Vegas city councilwoman, [Fiore] solicited donations to build a statue honoring Las Vegas police officers who were killed in the line of duty," prosecutors said in July. "Fiore did not use any of the tens of thousands of dollars in charitable donations for the statue of the fallen officer and instead converted the money to her personal use.

"The donations were used to pay her political fundraising bills and rent and were transferred to family members."

If convicted, Fiore could face up to 20 years in prison for each of the four counts of wire fraud, according to federal prosecutors.

Fiore pleaded not guilty to charges and, until last week, appeared in high spirits, according to Jung.

The former City Council member is reportedly known as "Lady Trump" in her state after she was so dubbed in a 2016 Politico article that features her dripping in diamonds and clutching a large gun.

"[Trump] has many antecedents, some of whom rose to power during and after the populist wave in 2010," the report notes. "Fiore, who sees the similarities between herself and Trump, has been one of the most peculiar."

Like Fiore, Trump also stood trial in criminal court for fraud. He was found guilty of falsifying business records to cover up hush money paid to an adult film star ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
