Julian is now a super typhoon, says Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Julian further intensified into a super typhoon early Tuesday morning, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. As of 4 a.m., the center of Super Typhoon Julian (international name: Krathon) was located 205 kilometers west of Itabayat, Batanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour (kph) with
