Israel invaded Lebanon earlier today

Israel invaded Lebanon earlier today. W/ this invasion Israel could have very well set the region on fire. However, there is a way to stop the carnage. The UN Security Council should authorize a UN multi-dimensional military force to the Israeli, Lebanon border w/ the express purpose of stopping Israel's military campaign in Lebanon and formally notify the Israeli's after the Council's decision is made. The problem? A US veto.
