WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah’s sensational delivery to dismiss Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim in second Test match
On the last ball of the prolonged first session, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a super slower delivery which totally mislead Mushfiqur Rahim, who was trying to remain on strike for the second session, and the ball slipped through the gap between bat and pad, crashing into the middle stump. Bumrah’s third wicket of the innings also helped India bowl Bangladesh out for 147.
Taking two Bangladesh wickets before stumps on the fourth day, India put in a spectacular performance by taking eight more in the morning session of the fifth day. Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin picked three wickets each, but it was Jasprit Bumrah who provided the finishing coup to wrap up the innings.

The Indian spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, along with pacer Jasprit Bumrah, continued their brilliance to bowl out Bangladesh for 146 in their second innings. This set a target of 95 runs for India to win the second Test and seal an outright win over Bangladesh, thereby securing a clean sweep of the two-match series on Tuesday.
The lunch session was extended by half an hour to allow India to wrap up Bangladesh’s innings.
Ashwin ended with figures of 3/50. Jadeja took 3/34. Bumrah claimed 3/17 on Day 5, as Bangladesh, starting at 26/2 in the rain-affected Test, lost eight wickets in the extended morning session, adding just 120 runs to their total.
Overnight batter Shadman Islam was Bangladesh’s top scorer in the second innings, contributing 50 runs.
