Here are some interesting posts

An X user named Vihar Vaghasiya shared the picture and wrote”Bengaluru skies being just magical! What is this phenomenon even called?”

Amid the viral posts of the Bengaluru sky, residents sought answers about the reason behind the colourful display.

This Is What Behind The Spectacle

A news update in The Hindu has revealed that the city is witnessing the rarely-seen Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS). It’s a non-periodic comet, unlike frequent visitors like Halley’s Comet. Interestingly, Comet C/2023 A3’s unpredictable visibility makes its journey over our town a noteworthy celestial event.

An astrophysicist from Bengaluru city explained that non-periodic comets are “virtually outsiders to our solar system.”.
The comet was first found in January last year, by China’s Purple Mountain Observatory, and its surprised visit has captivated observers over the last two days.

Rare Sight In Hyderabad Too

If you live in cities like Hyderabad, you’re in for a celestial treat! You might get to see a comet until October 2 as reported by Deccan Chronicle. Here’s an amazing snippet – the comet has made its grand appearance in our Solar System after a whopping 80,000 years. Capturing the magic of the stars through his lens, astrophotographer Upendra Pinnelli shares that this extraordinary comet is currently perched about 129.6 million kilometers away from our home planet, Earth. Wondering where to search for it? Look for the constellation Sextans, and you might just catch a glimpse!
The folks in Bengaluru are completely spellbound by the sight of Comet C/2023 A3. This astonishing celestial phenomenon has left a substantial impression on its spectators.
