Lewis Reid moves on loan to Stranraer
Queen’s Park’s central defender Lewis Reid is moving on a temporary basis to William Hill League 2 side Stranraer who appointed the Aitken brothers, Chris and Stephen, as their new management team on Monday.
The 19-year-old has been with The Spiders for ten years and after making his top team debut in February 2023 he has a regular in the B Team that won the Reserve League last season as well as featuring in ten First Team games.
The Ayrshire based player started this season playing in the First Team however an injury picked up in a Premier Sports Cup tie at Hibs saw him side-lined until minor surgery was carried out.
Lewis is now needing games to continue his recovery and enable him to develop his career and is expected to spend the rest of the season with The Stair Park side to help with this.
