India's monsoon season ends with 7.6% more rainfall than normal, says IMD

The 2024 monsoon season has concluded with 7.6 per cent more rainfall than the normal average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). ​​Several states, including Rajasthan, Gujarat, west Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, experienced excess rainfall.
