Rising water raises toll: Nepal's deadly floods leave 200 dead, dozens missing

KATHMANDU, Nepal - The death toll from rain-induced flooding and landslides in different parts of Nepal has grown to 200.

The calamity, which began on Thursday, has devastated many sections of the country, resulting in enormous destruction.

According to the most recent information released by Nepal Police at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, 26 persons remain missing, while rescue operations have saved 4,222 people.
