PlayStation down UPDATES: Worldwide outage sparks chaos for millions of gamers who blast ‘we just want to play’

THE PlayStation network has suffered a major global outage leaving millions of gamers fuming.

The network has reportedly been down for most of Tuesday with complaints rolling in since 10am.

A warning message is currently showing up on the PlayStation Network website, Account Management, PlayStation Store and Gaming and Social pages.

In the UK, Downdetector is reporting that nearly 5,000 users have issues.

The PlayStation Network has 110million registered users worldwide and more than 103million active users monthly.

There has been no comment from the network as to when it will be back up.
