Julius Baer Generation Cup 2024 - Games and Results

The Julius Baer Generation Cup takes place Fri 27th Sep to Tue 1st Oct 2024. The event is the last qualifiying event in the online Champions Chess Tour before the finals in December. The format is the Double Elimination KO format where you have to lose two matches to be knocked out. Magnus Carlsen had to qualify but still reached the Grand Final after winning the winners final. Carlsen will meet Alireza Firouzja who he beat in the winners final, or MVL or Aronian all of whom hope to qualify via the losers route.
