COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Ohio State's first game against a ranked opponent is also its first West Coast Big Ten game, and it will be broadcast on NBC4.

No. 3 Ohio State will play at No. 6 Oregon on Oct. 12 in one of the biggest games of the college football season. The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC4 from Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. This is Ohio State's only game this season against one of the four West Coast Big Ten members.

The addition of former Pac-12 programs Oregon, USC, UCLA, and Washington has opened up the conference schedules for the Midwest schools to play maximum of one football game out west each season. Among upcoming trips out for the Buckeyes include Washington (2025) and USC (2026).

Remaining Ohio State football schedule

  • Oct. 5: vs. Iowa (3:30 p.m.)
  • Oct. 12: at. Oregon (7:30 p.m. on NBC4)
  • Oct. 26: vs. Nebraska (noon, 3:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.)
  • Nov. 2: at. Penn State
  • Nov. 9: vs. Purdue
  • Nov. 16: at. Northwestern (noon or 3:30 p.m.)
  • Nov. 23: vs. Indiana
  • Nov. 30: vs. Michigan (noon)

The Ducks are one of the most formidable teams in college football, led by Heisman-candidate quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Oregon could enter the contest against Ohio State 5-0 as it seeks to defeat Michigan State on Friday night. Idaho, Boise State, Oregon State, and UCLA are the four teams the Ducks have beaten this season.

Although this is the first Ohio State-Oregon Big Ten game, it is not the first time the two schools have met. This will be the fourth all-time meeting, with the previous three being a 26-17 OSU win in the 2010 Rose Bowl, a 42-20 OSU win in the 2015 national title game, and Oregon's upset win in 2021 35-28 at Ohio Stadium.

Just five teams remain unbeaten in the Big Ten entering Week 6: Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Indiana and Rutgers. The Buckeyes will face Penn State on Nov. 9 and host Indiana on Nov. 23. Neither the Hoosiers or Scarlet Knights plays Oregon or Penn State this season.
