PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The November general election is now just weeks away. On Tuesday, October 8, KOIN 6 News will host a debate for the candidates in Oregon's 5th Congressional District.

Incumbent GOP Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer and current Oregon Democratic State Rep. Janelle Bynum will debate the issues that make Oregon's 5th District one of the tightest congressional district races in the country.

The debate begins at 7 p.m. and will be televised on KOIN 6 and livestreamed on KOIN.com
