How to watch Spurs vs Ferencvaros in the Europa League – Team news and predictions

0

Tottenham Hotspur continue their Europa League journey this week with another very winnable fixture against Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros. Here’s how to watch the game, who’ll be in the team, and what we think the score will be.

It was a victorious start to the Europa League campaign for Spurs last week, as they overcame Azerbaijan champions Qarabag in a thrilling 3-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The game was an eventful one, with a delayed kick-off, an early red card, and goals for Brennan Johnson, Pape Matar Sarr, and Dominic Solanke.

Can the Lilywhites make it two from two? Check out all the details you need regarding the upcoming game.

You’ll need to be a TNT customer to access the game. Coverage starts at 5 pm and runs through to roughly 7:45 pm, with both pre and post-match discussion and analysis.

When and where is the game?

Tottenham will travel to Hungary for the fixture, which takes place at Ferencváros Stadion, also known as the Groupama Aréna.

Team news

Spurs will definitely be without the injured Richarlison and Wilson Odobert, and Radu Dragusin, who is suspended for the game.

The exact return dates for Richarlison (leg injury) and Odobert (thigh injury) are unknown at this stage, but they are both expected to be unavailable until the back end of October.

Radu Dragusin was sent off in the first game against Qarabag, and will serve a one-match suspension, meaning he will not be able to play against Ferencvaros.

Cristian Romero will be back in contention after serving his own suspension in the previous game.

Spurs should secure a comfortable win

Ferencvaros are about as good as Qarabag, possibly even a little weaker. The crowd in Hungary will generate a decent atmosphere, but Spurs certainly have enough experience and quality to overcome that and walk away with a strong win. I’ll go for 3-0 Spurs (as long as they keep 11 men on the pitch).
