Omnia employees receive R45m payout through broad-based share scheme

JSE-listed chemicals group Omnia Holdings this week announced the vesting of its broad-based employee share scheme, amounting to R45-million.  Omnia says the scheme, established in 2021, gave 300 shares to each employee, which effectively allowed 2 530 Omnia employees to participate in the financial rewards of the company as owners.
