Green Acres

The Green Acres motel on Lake Shore in the east end of Mississauga is one of the last of the motels that used to litter Lake Shore back in the day. Remember that strip in Mimico? They're all gone, but Green Acres remained!

A change has been proposed for these lands! They want to tear down Green Acres and put up a 10-storey residential apartment building.

I, for one, am glad it won't be condos. Rest well, Green Acres.
