Pleasant weekend ahead with above average temperatures
What We’re Tracking
- Nice weather this weekend
- Tropical moisture stays east
- Brief cool down next week
We're continuing to see a few clouds filtering across the area from the leftovers of Hurricane Helene. Still not anticipating any rainfall for us from it. Temperatures are near average in the low to mid 50s to start out.
Highs will warm up just a bit more for our weekend, topping out in the low to mid 80s for most. Breezes will be picking up from the north and northeast at 10-15 mph during the afternoon hours today. After clearing out this evening, we'll hold on to sunshine as highs stay consistent through Monday.
Rain chances look to remain limited for the next week or so. Besides a few clouds leftover from Hurricane Helene, we don't get anything from it and in general we enter a fairly dry pattern to close out the month of September and entering October.
We are tracking our next frontal boundary arriving early next week. That'll cool us down into the lower to middle 70s for Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately, no rain looks to be associated with this front, and we warm back up by the end of the week returning to the 80s by Thursday and Friday.
