Sasha Obama’s Latest Outing Shows How She’s Nailing the Boho Aesthetic

Barack and Michelle Obama’s daughters Sasha Obama and Malia Obama are style Queens for Gen Z, and now, Sasha is showing everyone another side to her street style: a boho, edgy style we’re obsessed with.

In photos obtained by Hola on Sept 27, we can see that Sasha is living her best life while attending the University of Southern California (where she earned her degree in Sociology back in 2023). It’s unclear why she’s back on campus: she may have a job there, maybe going to graduate school, or is just there to meet with friends. But no matter the reason, we do know one thing: she looks so chic in her latest look.

In the photos obtained by the outlet, we can see Sasha rocking an edgy, boho-inspired look consisting of loose hunter-green pants, a statement brown belt, a multi-patterned top, and that iconic brown hobo bag she’s almost always seen with.

Not only does this show Sasha’s go-to accessories, but it also shows how she edges up any style, from Y2K to boho.

While Sasha has never publicly talked about her street style, we do see multiple patterns with her. She’s experimented with different colors, patterns, and more; all lining up with a Gen Z aesthetic. (The Gen Z aesthetic is all about maximalism, with layering different vibrant colors, textures, and more.)

And she’s made headlines more recently in 2024. In fact, earlier this month, Sasha made numerous headlines for her Y2K-inspired styles, and we’re sure she’ll keep making headlines for her street style, just like big sis Malia.
