Governments earmarked alomst $2 tn in direct investment support for clean energy since 2020: IEA

Governments globally have committed nearly USD 2 trillion to clean energy since 2020, almost triple the amount after the 2007-08 financial crisis. The majority of this spending is in China, the EU, and the US. This investment focuses on energy security and includes incentives for low-emissions vehicles, hydrogen, and batteries.
